One Question at a Time
Dumping 5 questions into one prompt is the fastest way to get 5 mediocre answers. Ask one thing, get a great response, then build on it.
We've all done it. You open ChatGPT and type a paragraph with six different questions crammed together. The result? A wall of text that half-answers everything and fully answers nothing.
AI works best when it can focus. Think of it like talking to a really smart intern on their first day โ they'll crush one clear task, but hand them a vague pile of work and they'll panic-guess their way through it.
Here's the move: break your big question into a conversation. Ask one thing. Read the answer. Then ask the follow-up. Each response builds on the last, and the AI gets smarter about what you specifically need with every exchange.
Example: Instead of "Write me a business plan for a coffee shop including the financials, marketing strategy, location analysis, and staffing plan" โ start with "I'm opening a coffee shop in a college town with a $50K budget. What are the 3 most important things to figure out first?"
Then go deeper on each one. The conversation is the power. Use it.
