The Prompt Improver

Here's the most underrated AI technique: don't write your own prompts. Let AI write them for you.

It sounds circular, but stick with me. You know what you want, but you might not know the best way to ask for it. AI literally processes millions of prompts — it knows which structures, which phrases, and which details produce the best results. So use that.

The workflow:

• \u2022Write your prompt however you normally would
• \u2022Before hitting send, paste it into a new conversation and say: "I'm going to use this prompt with an AI assistant. Improve it to get better results. Show me the improved version, then explain every change you made and why."
• \u2022Use the improved version. Save the explanation so you learn the pattern.

Example: You write: "Write me a LinkedIn post about AI."

The improver might turn it into: "Write a LinkedIn post (150-200 words) sharing one surprising lesson I learned from using AI tools daily for 6 months. Tone: reflective and honest, not salesy. Include a specific example and end with a question to drive comments."

See the difference? The improved version has constraints (word count), specificity (one lesson, 6 months), tone guidance, structure (example + question), and a goal (drive comments). Every addition makes the output better.

Why this is a power-user move: You're not just getting one better prompt — you're learning how to think about prompts. After doing this 10-15 times, you'll start writing improved prompts automatically. The AI is essentially teaching you prompt engineering through examples.

You're training yourself by training the prompt. Save your before/afters. You'll build an intuition for what makes prompts work that no course can teach you.
